Bennett Spring State Park was bustling with folks in chest waders and bucket hats so naturally I got out with my camera to document.

When I set out on my cross-country adventure I understood there would be many new and unexpected experiences. Even so, the lessons I learned in the Black Hills of South Dakota were some that I never could have anticipated.
